As an incentive to increase membership, the NACM Board of Directors will award three levels of awards to NACM members who recruit a significant number of members as listed below:
Level One Award - 8 or more new individual members:
A NACM member who recruits eight or more members will receive a free annual or midyear conference registration, plus have one year of NACM membership fees waived.
Level Two Award – 6-7 new individual members:
A NACM member who recruits between six and seven new members will receive a free annual or midyear conference registration.
Level Three Award – 3-5 new individual members:
A NACM member who recruits between three and five new members will have one year of NACM membership fees waived.
Note: Period of recruitment for each level is approximately six months - July 6, 2009 to January 31, 2010 and February 1 to July 20, 2010.
Criteria
- The recruitment period for this program will be from July to June of each year.
- The three levels of awards listed above are mutually exclusive. In other words, NACM members will receive only the highest level of award for which they are eligible.
- The Board of Directors and Officers of NACM are not eligible for this incentive program.
- All other members of NACM are eligible.
- Renewal of a current member for a new year will not be counted as a new member.
- Recruiting a member who has allowed their membership to elapse for a period of six months or more will count as a new member.
- Conference registration is transferable to another individual; however, the registration must be used within one year of award.
- If the award is not used within the one year timeframe referenced immediately above, the award will be forfeited.
